Chris is a graduate of Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, where he concentrated in cinematography and nonfiction film.  He spent a summer in Los Angeles, interning for producers Susie Landau and Alexis Sealy, and directors Lucas Reiner and Roman Coppola.

He later joined AmeriCorps, and worked elders and adults with disabilities in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.

Joining Florentine as an intern in 2005, Chris began working on The National Parks: America’s Best Idea, and was later hired during the final stages of The War.
