McKay joined the Florentine New York office in 2008 as a production assistant for Prohibition and Tenth Inning. Prior to Florentine, she was the deputy editor of the book review website Boldtype and covered the New York literary scene for several websites and local newspapers. McKay currently serves as a reader for the literary journal A Public Space and as a consultant for The Greenhorns, a documentary film about young farmers. She graduated from the University of Virginia in 2005 with a degree in American Studies and currently lives in Brooklyn.
