Richard Rubin

In 2000 Richard Rubin made the decision to leave a 16-year career in the printing and pre-press industry to pursue a career in documentary filmmaking.  After returning to school and earning a B.A. in Broadcast Production from Temple University, Rich joined Florentine Films as an intern in 2004.  Having successfully completed his internship, Rich was hired in 2005 to assist the producers of America’s Best Idea: Our National Parks, a multi-part series.  Rich lives in New Jersey with his wife, Karen, and their three daughters, Allison, Diane and Jessica, but works during the week in New Hampshire.  “I consider myself fortunate to be able to work in such a creative and enriching environment.  All the people at Florentine are first-rate and I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else!”
