The people are so kind and beautiful. Food, not so good. Sadly, we would not return.<\/p>\n<p>The roads very hard to navigate. GPS is almost non-existent and will mis-guide you. Of course we didn&#8217;t know that until we had a white knuckle drive. We were advised by the manager of our Air BnB to take the Atlantic coast highway. It would only take and hour and a half. But how to get to it? Two of three GPS apps could not find Marigot Bay. Waze located it, but took us up the Caribbean side of the island. Three and a half hours at night on roads with potholes that would eat your car, straight up, straight down, switchbacks with little visibility, lethal drainage ditches. Lefthand drive too. I love to drive, so I was able handle it, but it sure wasn&#8217;t fun and my passengers were freaked out. A very LONG day.<\/p>\n<p>We ended up staying close to our fantastic house, 200 feet straight down to the very protected harbor. Boats coming in every afternoon, weighing anchor in the morning. Across the bay was a cute little beach where we swam.
